Client Overview

Associated Bank-Corp, a diversified bank holding company based at Wisconsin had over 5000 associates and over $22 billion in total assets.  The client served customers in over 300 locations.

Business challenges

Associated Bank-Corp was insourcing IT and the function of job scheduling was very important to the client. The client required urgent evaluation and enhancement of job scheduling. The outsourcer however could only provide a manual solution that was associated with NT. The client wanted a solution that integrated with three of their major applications:

  • Informant (data warehouse application)
  • Narlis (reporting application)
  • CBS (Pullback application)

 
The client chose CONTROL-M over three other solutions following consultation with the Gartner group and based on the advice from analyst.

GSS America solution

BMC software partnered with Infospectrum, a GSS America company to implement CONTROL-M. GSS deployed CONTROL-M agentless technology at all the 300 plus locations of the client. Leading the evaluation process, GSS America included Control-M Database Application Interface (AI) which proved to be a useful value addition.
