Business challenges

The client wanted to create a single enterprise platform for managing, administering and updating all websites with ease. The interfaces already existing in the system needed to be intact. In brief the challenges were:

• The WebSphere Portal Administration responsibilities required to be handled during the migration phase.
• The existing portlets required to be redesigned and enhanced for additional functionality.
• The system required to be integrated to team site application, while integration with Hibernate was critical too.

GSS America solution

GSS America provided a simple interface to enable the web master team to add or remove new portlets on a page independently without the help of the development team. Using out-of-the-box functionality, the look and feel of the website could be changed by only a few clicks.
